Trend Alert: Dancing In Flats

Oh, Ballet Flats will you ever go away?

The Stylish Girls Guide-Ballet Flats-Bloc

I'm not against the lovely little shoe. I am a stiletto girl, but I own a pair or two and completely see their importance. But I keep having Sam and Libby (the IT ballet flat before Tory) flash backs from high school. Cute shoes; but my feet and back always hurt (there was not support) . . . I know it is the opposite for the rest of the world.

The ballet flat is great way to give your feet a rest and still rock “foot candy.” Currently the most popular ballet flat is the Tory Burch signature logo shoe.

Tory and another designers have really taken the shoe to varying heights of fashion. They have even brought them back in the form of (70's/80's babies hold on to your manicured toes) JELLIES. Yes, jellies and they are kinda of cute; but I am not sure if it's a trend I will walk (sweaty feet) off into to the sun set in.

What to wear them with:
  • Skinny Jeans
  • Get Fancy and wear them with your after 5 or cocktail dress (look for a satin or embellished shoe for this look)
  • Your favorite cropped pant
  • Another one of this season hottest trends Short Shorts
