Turquoise has been voted color of the year by Pantone, the global authority on color. Pantone refers to the hue as inviting and luminous. It is believed to be a protective talisman, a color of deep compassion and healing, and a color of faith and truth, inspired by water and sky.
In your wardrobe you can pair it with neutral or browns to add a pop of excitement. Paired with Black it is sophisticated and calm. Cant’ you see yourself in that stylish black dress, you know that one that makes your legs look great? Now imagine a fabulous Turquoise necklace. Yeah, that’s the look! If you want a real Color POP pair it with reds, pinks, and yellows. It is also seasonless and genderless and can be worn year-round by both men and women.
I personally love this color; it is like the black of the blue family of colors. How, you say? Turquoise pairs well with just about any other color. Turquoise it the perfect balance of warm and cool tones. It’s a harmonious line between blue and green.

Oooh, I wouldn't have thought to paint a wall turquoise but I love the look. Very bright and cheery!
